A Xenomorph-Spider Hybrid Emerges in Nightmarish Illustrations

Alien Franchise’s Xenomorph Melds with Spider in Terrifying New Art

Artist Bad_blood_custom has created a terrifying new creature by merging the iconic Xenomorph from the Alien franchise with a spider. The hybrid creature, which appears in two illustrations, features seven legs, a spider-like body, and the Xenomorph’s iconic head design with pincer-like limbs. The second illustration shows a more gruesome version of the creature, with a wet and oozing appearance.

The Alien franchise, which began with Ridley Scott’s 1979 film, has featured several variations of the Xenomorph over the years. James Cameron’s sequel introduced an action-packed narrative with multiple Xenomorphs, while Alien: Resurrection featured a human-like monster called the Newborn. The franchise has also included genetically-engineered species like the Praetomorph in Alien: Covenant, and the Offspring, a new monster born from a human character consuming black goo, in Alien: Romulus.

The latest Alien film, Alien: Romulus, has received positive reviews, and it’s possible that a Xenomorph-spider hybrid could appear in a future installment. The creature’s design, which combines the Xenomorph’s iconic head with spider-like features, could be a chilling addition to the franchise.

The Alien franchise has also explored other hybrid creatures, such as the Xenomorph-queen hybrid that appeared in Alien: Covenant. With the continued success of the franchise, it’s likely that more hybrids and variations of the Xenomorph will be introduced in future films.
