Mysterious Drones Spotted in New Jersey, Unverified Video Shows Aftermath of Crash
A series of mysterious drones have been spotted in New Jersey over the past few weeks, with unverified video footage emerging that allegedly shows the aftermath of a drone crash. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and local police are investigating the sightings, which have been reported nightly in several counties since November 18, with the exception of Thanksgiving Day.
The video, filmed at night, appears to show flames and smoke emerging from the side of a road, with one person in the recording describing the scene as “crazy” and “like a craft that crashed out of the sky.” The original video has been reshared across social media platforms, although its authenticity has not been confirmed.
The incident is reported to have occurred in Pine Beach, New Jersey, with local police and the New Jersey State Police being reached out to for comment. While authorities have acknowledged the recent presence of drones, there has been no official confirmation of a crash.
Eyewitnesses have described the drones as being significantly larger than those used by hobbyists, with some reporting that they are as big as small cars. The drones have been spotted near military research and manufacturing facilities, as well as a golf course owned by President-elect Donald Trump.
In response, the Federal Aviation Administration has temporarily banned drones from flying over a military base in Morris County and Trump’s golf club. Authorities have also issued a statement cautioning that while there is no evidence of an imminent threat, the drones’ presence appears “nefarious” in nature.
