Josh Allen: ‘I’ll Do Whatever’s Asked of Me’;
Josh Allen Threw for Two Touchdowns and Rushed for Another in Sunday’s Game Against the Jets
Josh Allen’s performance against the Jets was exceptional, throwing for two scores and running for another in a turnover-free game. His statistics now stand at 3,731 pass yards, 28 touchdowns, and six interceptions, alongside 531 rush yards and 11 touchdowns. His teammate, John Jackson, has also had an impressive season, with 3,955 pass yards, 39 touchdowns, and four interceptions, as well as 852 rush yards and four touchdowns. However, with the Bills having two more wins than the Ravens, it’s clear that Allen has a strong case for the MVP award.
Coach McDermott believes Allen is the most deserving of the award, citing his incredible performance on the field and his impact on the community. “Josh Allen is the MVP,” McDermott said. “I’ve been around this league long enough to know, to see MVPs every year for many years, and what he has done on this team and this organization, in this community – and no offense to anybody else – but I have a hard time believing that someone’s done more.”
Rookie wideout Keon Coleman also praised Allen, stating, “He should have been the MVP five years ago.” When asked if he thought he’d done enough to secure his first MVP award, Allen humbly deflected the praise, instead crediting the Bills’ defense and his wide receivers, Amari Cooper and Keon Coleman. “I don’t really care about that,” Allen said. “The defense played fantastic. I’m watching that Coop highlight. Him and Keon had fantastic plays today.”
