Rachel Campos-Duffy, a co-host on Fox News’s “Outnumbered,” strongly condemned the Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement for threatening to riot if former police officer Derek Chauvin is acquitted in the trial of George Floyd.

During an appearance on “Hannity” last night, Campos-Duffy said, “I think it’s really disturbing. I think it’s a reflection of a bigger problem in our country, which is the division and the polarization. I think it’s really shame on them.”

Campos-Duffy was reacting to reports that BLM organizers are planning protests and riots if Chauvin is found not guilty. “If the jury decides to acquit, they will be telling us that we’re just supposed to let our loved ones die and there’s nothing we can do about it,” BLM activist and lawyer Sadia Chaudhary told CNN.

Campos-Duffy, a Latina conservative who has been critical of BLM in the past, called the group’s tactics “thuggish” and “un-American.” “I think it’s really sad when people think that violence is the answer to every problem. It’s not. We can have disagreements, we can have protests, we can have free speech, but we can’t condone violence.”

She also praised the Minneapolis Police Department for taking steps to prevent potential violence in the city. “I think it’s really great to see the police department preparing for potential unrest, for potential violence, and taking steps to protect their community. That’s what we should be doing, we should be supporting our police.”

Campos-Duffy concluded by saying, “Shame on them” if BLM does riot or cause harm if Chauvin is acquitted. “I think we should all be working together to solve problems, not causing chaos and destruction. That’s not what America is about.”
