Airbus Delivers 84 Planes in November, Moves Closer to Year-End Targets
Airbus delivered 84 planes in November, a significant increase from previous months and a sign that the company is moving back towards its end-year targets. According to industry sources, deliveries rose sharply to above 80 in November, following a deal reached between engine maker CFM and Airbus over short-term engine supplies last week.
As of November, Airbus has delivered a total of 643 planes this year, leaving it with 127 jets to deliver in December to reach its annual target of “around 770”. Alternatively, the company needs to deliver 107 planes in December to meet more conservative analyst expectations of 750.
