President-elect Trump Promises “All Hell to Pay” If Hostages Held by Hamas Are Not Released
In a Truth Social post, President-elect Trump warned that there will be “all hell to pay” if the hostages being held by the Iran-backed terror group Hamas are not released prior to his taking office on January 20. Trump’s remarks were made in response to the recent attacks on Israel, which resulted in the kidnapping of at least 250 people, including at least seven Americans.
Trump expressed frustration with the lack of action taken to free the hostages, stating that “everybody is talking about the hostages who are being held so violently, inhumanely, and against the will of the entire World, in the Middle East – But it’s all talk, and no action!”
Trump also warned that if the hostages are not released prior to his inauguration, there will be “ALL HELL TO PAY in the Middle East, and for those in charge who perpetrated these atrocities against Humanity.”
The warning comes as Hamas recently released a video of an Israeli-American hostage, Edan Alexander, 20, who has been held captive for over 420 days, pleading for his release. Alexander was abducted by Hamas terrorists on October 7, 2023.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has spoken with Alexander’s family and is committed to taking action to bring the hostages back home. Trumpechoed this sentiment, stating that those responsible for taking the hostages “will be hit harder than anybody has been hit in the long and storied History of the United States of America.”
