Lil Yachty Awkwardly Opens Up About Dating Mariah The Scientist
HipHopDX obtained an exclusive statement from Lil Yachty as he opened up about his reported romance with rising R&B sensation Mariah the Scientist. After weeks of whispers and speculation about their relationship status, the pair finally addressed their situation.
“Lil Yachty and I have been connected for a hot minute now. We met doing music, collaborated on a couple of tracks together, and quickly realized we made sense as not just collaborators, but as human beings too. We started exploring our connection romantically, but we never claimed it to anyone,” Mariah the Scientist recently revealed in a statement.
On the other side, Lil Yachty appeared slightly more ambiguous, saying “Mariah, she’s very special to me. We go way back in terms of us doing music. We started seeing each other casually, but that’s all it was. Now, I like her a lot, but if you’re wondering if we’re official, [laughs]…we’re kinda… sort of… you get it.”
