Patti LuPone, the actress who voiced Lilia Calenderu in the Phase 5 MCU show Agatha: All Along, recently revealed on the Sirius XM podcast Andy Cohen Live that the show’s creator, Jac Schaeffer, had a no-second-season policy. This means that the show will not have a second season.

According to LuPone, Schaefer met with her and told her that Lilia would be killed off, and when LuPone expressed interest in reprising her role in the future, Schaefer said she doesn’t do second seasons. LuPone hopes to work with Schaefer again in the future.

Agatha: All Along’s ending, which saw numerous characters die, including Lilia, seems final, and Schaefer’s stance on no second seasons suggests that these characters are indeed dead for good. The show’s connection to WandaVision and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness sets up possible spiritual sequels, but it appears that Agatha: All Along will not continue as a separate series.
