Ad

Four valuable gold artifacts from an ancient exhibit on Romanian jewellery and silver treasures have been stolen in a raid at the Drents Museum in Assen, Netherlands, over the weekend.

Thieves allegedly used explosives to break into the museum overnight and made off with three ancient Dacian royal bracelets, together with the highly prized Helmte of Cotofenesti. The intricate metalwork decoration showcases mythological creatures and human features, earning the helmet, a national treasure.
