Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has spoken out for the first time since the team’s 27-25 loss to the Buffalo Bills in the NFL divisional round on Sunday. Andrews had a game to forget, fumbling a critical late pass and dropping a game-tying two-point conversion that sealed the win for the Bills.

In a social media post, Andrews expressed his devastation and disappointment, saying it’s taken him until now to collect his thoughts and address the situation publicly. He vowed to use the adversity to fuel his team moving forward and thanked fans for their support.

Ravens coaches and players, including head coach John Harbaugh, came to Andrews’ defense, praising his heart, character, and toughness. Even fans from the opposing team, the Bills, showed their support by starting a GoFundMe to raise money for Breakthrough TD1, a diabetes research and advocacy organization that Andrews is involved with.

The donations have surpassed $100,000, and Andrews expressed his gratitude for the outpouring of support. He also acknowledged the negativity surrounding his performance, but chose to focus on the love and encouragement he’s received.

Andrews, a three-time Pro Bowler, finished the season with 673 yards and 11 touchdowns. Despite the tough loss, he’s already looking to bounce back and contribute to his team’s success.
