A DOG owner was eaten by her pet pugs after dying in her apartment and being left to rot for days. The horrific scene was discovered after Adriana Neagoe’s family members raised the alarm when they had not heard from her in five days. Her body was found half-eaten in her apartment, with her beloved pugs lying next to her. The cause of her death is under investigation, with no signs of violence apparent. The pugs were removed by local council workers and a shelter order was put in place for the two dogs.
The investigation is ongoing, with an autopsy performed on Neagoe’s body at the Gorj Forensic Medicine. Her sister, Maria Alexandra, has paid tribute to her “beautiful angel” on social media, saying “Another angel has gone to heaven. My beautiful sister Anda Sasha is no longer among us.” Friends and family members have also expressed their shock and condolences, with many saying they “can’t believe” the news.
Neagoe’s funeral will be held on Friday at noon at a local chapel.
