Mother of Three Missing for Over Three Months, Last Seen at Boyfriend’s House
An Indiana woman, 25-year-old Emma Baum, went missing nearly three months ago while nine months pregnant. She was last seen being dropped off at her boyfriend’s house in Gary, Indiana.
Baum’s family and authorities are growing concerned, as the search for her continues with little to no progress. “Looking for Emma has been a very struggling thing for everybody, mentally and physically and emotionally… but we’re not going to stop looking for her,” Baum’s sister Hailey Baum-Waddell told Fox News Digital.
According to police, the missing persons report was filed by Baum’s family on October 28, just days after her disappearance. “We have searched a house, apartment, recreational vehicles and one other property,” Gary Police Cmdr. Jack Hamady said.
In addition to the official investigation, Baum-Waddell and other family members have organized a search party, with the help of social media, that has garnered hundreds of willing participants.
Baum-Waddell suspects her sister’s boyfriend of “hiding something” and her mother believes he was involved in her disappearance. “He has not charged anyone with the disappearance of Emma Baum, and she has not been located yet,” Hamady said.
Emma Baum is 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighs around 136 pounds, has brown hair and brown eyes, and has several scars and tattoos. She was supposed to give birth to her fourth child, but her exact whereabouts remain unknown.
