Los Angeles Rams rookie defensive end Bobby Verse has been making waves in the NFL with his impressive performance on the field, generating 4.5 sacks and 76 quarterback pressures this season. However, his comments about Philadelphia Eagles fans have sparked controversy ahead of their upcoming Divisional Round matchup.

Verse, who attended Central Columbia High School in Pennsylvania and played college football at Albany College and Florida State, has a history of facing tough crowds. In a recent interview, he recalled an incident where Eagles fans hurled obscenities at him before a game at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

“I didn’t even do nothing to ’em,” Verse said. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans… When I see that green and white, I hate it. I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”

Verse’s comments have likely guaranteed a hostile reception from Eagles fans when the Rams visit Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday. The rookie defensive end should be prepared for a loud and intense atmosphere, but he will need to stay focused on the task at hand if the Rams are to advance to the next round of the playoffs.
