Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins had a decent assessment of his play despite the team’s disappointing end to the season. He acknowledged that there were moments he wished he had played better, citing two specific plays in the Kansas City and Ravens games. Nonetheless, he felt he gave it his all and cites the team’s lack of collective success as a major factor in their predicament.
Haskins, 36, has no intention of retiring, intending to continue playing for as long as possible. He has stated this since his rookie year and currently feels great physically, mentally, and emotionally. He loves the competitive process and being surrounded by his teammates.
The Steelers QB room, consisting of Haskins, Justin Fields, and Kyle Allen, is set to become a free agent this offseason. With the team’s plans for a complete overhaul of their QB crew in 2024, it is uncertain whether they will re-sign one or more of these quarterbacks for another season in 2025.
