Chargers head coach Jim Harbaugh expressed his sympathy for those affected by the recent devastating fires in Los Angeles, revealing that his own daughter’s home was evacuated. “My heart goes out and abundant prayers to all those that have been affected by this tragedy,” he said, donning a Los Angeles Fire Department hat.

Harbaugh praised the first responders and the way the community has come together to support each other, saying, “You see neighbors on top of houses helping fellow neighbors, it’s truly inspiring.” The team’s practice in El Segundo took place while coaches wore masks due to the poor air quality, which has been a major concern in the SoCal region.

Minnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell also expressed his sorrow for those affected, saying, “I feel helpless watching it from here and you know how many people are being impacted.” He noted that the situation is having a profound impact on many people, including friends who have lost their homes. O’Connell’s approach remains, “To me, it’s just a matter of logistics that are out of my hands… We’ll just go play the game wherever it’s gonna be.” He expressed deep concern for those personally affected and acknowledged the bravery of the first responders working tirelessly to put out the fires.
