Atlanta Hawks guard Trae Young proved why he’s a threat from anywhere on the court, nailing a 49-foot game-winning shot at half-court to secure a 124-121 victory over the Utah Jazz on Tuesday night.

The Jazz tied the game with under three seconds left to play, but Young was unfazed, taking one dribble and pulling up for the long-range shot. His teammates mobbed him at half-court as he celebrated the win.

Young finished the game with 24 points and 20 assists, showcasing his ability to pass and score from anywhere on the court. “This is part of what I do,” Young said after the game. “I always get guys involved, always been able to find people. I feel like I’m the kind of guy who can pass you open.”

Hawks head coach Quin Snyder praised Young’s efficiency, noting that he was only 6-for-16 from the floor but had only two turnovers. Young’s ability to be efficient and know when to give the ball up or score himself was evident in the game.

The win improved the Hawks’ record to 19-18, while the Jazz fell to 9-26. Lauri Markkanen led the Jazz with 35 points, and Collin Sexton had 24 points, including the tying basket with only seconds left.
