As the Tennessee Titans prepare for the NFL Draft with the second pick, former running back Chris Johnson believes they shouldn’t waste that opportunity on another quarterback. According to Johnson, the Titans already have their franchise quarterback in Will Levis and should consider other options. He is keen on selecting Colorado star Travis Hunter, a dual-threat player who excels at both wide receiver and cornerback.

Johnson, a nine-time NFL player with over 2,000 rushing yards in a single season, emphasized that Levis has potential, but needs time to develop. He suggested letting Levis work with the current team while also bringing in Hunter to play on both sides of the ball. Hunter won several awards, including the top receiver and defensive player awards for the 2024 season, and has expressed interest in playing on both offense and defense.

As the Titans prepare for the April draft, Johnson believes they should select Hunter with their second overall pick, suggesting it would be “absolute foolish” to pass up on such a talented player. Other potential options at this spot include quarterbacks Shedeur Sanders and Cam Ward.
