Mangione’s appearance in a Manhattan courtroom has made headlines, not just for his arraignment on 11 counts, including first-degree murder in furtherance of terrorism, but also for his fashion sense.
Mangione was spotted wearing a burgundy sweater from Nordstrom, which has since gone on sale for $62.65. The sweater, which was previously available for $89.50, has become a hot topic on social media, with many fans praising Mangione’s sense of style.
In court, Mangione’s attorney argued that he would not receive a fair trial due to the amount of security present and the presence of New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The judge assured the attorney that they would “carefully select a jury” and set the next court date for February 21.
Meanwhile, a pro dancer on Dancing with the Stars has joked about having Mangione on the next season of the show. Ezra Sosa, who was partnered with convicted felon Anna Delvey during the most recent season, posted a TikTok with a photo of Mangione in the background, captioning it “He finna be my partner season 34.”
