Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift Have Apparently Put Differences Aside
Brittany Mahomes, the significant other of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, and Taylor Swift, the significant other of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, have not been spotted together at as many games this season as they were last year. The apparent separation came as the two appeared to support different candidates in this year’s presidential election. Mahomes liked posts from Donald Trump on Instagram and wrote messages about her critics, while Swift openly endorsed Kamala Harris.
However, it seems the two have put their differences aside. According to multiple outlets, Patrick and Brittany recently attended an Eras Tour-themed party hosted by Swift, and Patrick wore a tuxedo similar to the one Kelce wore on stage at a show. Brittany wore a sparkly silver dress and posted several photos of the event, captioning one “My people” with a heart emoji.
The couple, along with Kelce and Swift, also attended the men’s U.S. Open final after the Chiefs’ first game of the season. Swift and Mahomes have become fast friends, often watching football games together in luxury boxes around the country.
In contrast, Swift was only seen with Mahomes at two Chiefs games this season, compared to nearly every game last year. The duo did make headlines at the Chiefs’ first game against the Ravens when they sat in separate suites, following backlash after Brittany publicly liked a post by Trump on Instagram. Swift fan groups on social media circulated screenshots of the post, leading to criticism. Trump even weighed in on the controversy, saying he preferred Brittany over Swift.
