Tory Lanez Admits ‘Regret’ From Megan Thee Stallion Shooting
Tory Lanez has admitted to feeling regret over his involvement in the shooting that led to Megan Thee Stallion being shot in 2022. In a new interview, Lanez spoke about the incident for the first time, expressing remorse for his actions.
Lanez was arrested and charged with felony assault and false imprisonment in connection with the shooting, which left Megan Thee Stallion suffering from non-life-threatening injuries. Lanez has since denied any wrongdoing and maintained his innocence, but in the new interview, he appears to be showing some remorse for his role in the incident.
“I got a lot of regret, you know what I’m saying?” Lanez said. “I got a lot of regret, a lot of lessons learned, a lot of mistakes made. And I’m just trying to move forward, you know what I’m saying?”
Lanez did not take direct responsibility for the shooting, but he did acknowledge that he was present at the time the incident occurred and that he should have done things differently. “I wasn’t in the right place, I wasn’t in the right mindset, I wasn’t thinking about the consequences of my actions,” he said. “But I’m trying to make amends, trying to make it right.”
