Marvel Studios Could Bring Iconic X-Men Villains to the MCU
Marvel’s upcoming X-Men reboot is expected to introduce some of the most iconic villains from the Marvel Comics universe. The reboot, being written by Michael Lesslie, is expected to reinvent the X-Men team and provide a powerful adversary for its MCU debut.
Magneto is one of the most recognizable X-Men villains and is expected to make a comeback in the MCU. Ian McKellen and Michael Fassbender have both portrayed Magneto in Fox’s X-Men franchise, and the character has been a significant part of the team’s narrative. Magneto’s complex character could be further explored in the MCU, showing his evolution from supervillain to superhero.
